Frequently asked questions

What does the first year at Sharda cost in total for a non-SAARC B.Tech student?

Roughly USD 4,200 tuition plus the USD 500 admission and procedural charge, plus hostel at USD 2,300 to 3,800 depending on AC and washroom type. Budget about USD 7,000 to 8,500 for the first year before personal expenses.

Are Nepali and Bangladeshi students charged the USD fee?

No. Nationals of Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh (and NRIs from GCC countries) pay the Indian rupee fee for all programmes except MBBS and PhD, plus a one-time INR 30,000 admission fee and INR 6,000 examination fee per semester.

Does Sharda offer MBBS to international students?

Yes. The School of Medical Sciences and Research admits foreign nationals to MBBS under NMC rules; applicants need a NEET-equivalent qualification and seats are limited, so apply early and confirm the separate MBBS fee with the medical admissions office.

What is covered by the USD 500 first-year charge?

The medical check-up, group medical insurance, AIU equivalence certificate assistance and FRRO registration, police verification and visa-extension support. From year two the same charge drops to USD 250.

How do I reach campus from Delhi airport?

Greater Noida is about 55 km from IGI Airport, roughly 90 minutes by taxi; the university arranges pick-up when flight details are sent in advance. Jewar's new Noida International Airport is closer at around 35 km.
