Frequently asked questions

Does Amity Noida charge foreign students in dollars?

No. The 2026 prospectus states that foreign-category fees equal the sponsored-category fee, which is 1.5 times the standard semester fee. B.Tech CSE, for example, is INR 3,28,500 per semester for foreign nationals versus INR 2,19,000 for non-sponsored Indian students, and fees rise about 5% each year.

What English test score do I need?

Only applicants who did not study English as a school subject need a test: TOEFL iBT 60 or IELTS 6.5. English-medium school leavers are exempt.

Is an AIU equivalence certificate required before I arrive?

Yes. Amity requires an AIU or UGC equivalence certificate for foreign qualifications at admission, so start the AIU application as soon as you have final transcripts; the international office can guide you but does not file it for you.

Can international students join the 3-Continent or 2+2 programmes?

Yes, subject to meeting the partner university's IELTS requirement (6.5-7.0) and maintaining a 7.5 CGPA at Amity. Fees for the overseas years are paid to the partner, for example about USD 28,000-32,000 a year at Iowa State or Kentucky.

How far is the campus from the airport and central Delhi?

Sector 125 is about 35 km from IGI Airport (60-90 minutes by cab) and 15 km from Connaught Place; the Okhla Bird Sanctuary and Botanical Garden metro stations are within a short shuttle ride.
