Weak ties to home country
Visa officers look for evidence that you will return home — stable employment, family, property or studies. A thin employment letter or no clear reason to return is one of the most common refusal grounds. Build a clear, documented picture of your life in India before you apply.
Inconsistent dates and details
If your flight itinerary, hotel booking and application form tell different stories about where you will be and when, an officer may doubt the trip is genuine. Make sure every document agrees on dates, cities and duration before submission.
Poor document quality
Blurry scans, cropped passport pages and unreadable financial statements undermine otherwise strong applications. Scan documents flat in good light, show all four corners, and keep the machine-readable zone fully visible.
Insufficient funds evidence
A bank statement that looks artificially inflated right before the application, or one that does not show regular income, can raise questions. Show a genuine, stable financial picture over several months rather than a sudden large deposit.
