Getting a visa should be easy. For most people, it is not.
We started Krosz about ten months ago to fix this. In this post we share everything, in simple words: the real problems people face with visas, why a visa business is so hard to start, why even big companies get it wrong, what we built, what broke and how we fixed it, the new ideas we tried, and how we earn your trust. Every part has a picture or a flow chart.
The real problems people face with visas
Before we talk about us, let's talk about you. The picture at the top of this page shows the eight problems almost every traveller faces.
1. Confusing rules. You search "Vietnam visa for Indians" and get ten answers. One site says 30 days, another says 90. One says you need a bank statement, another says you don't.
2. Hidden fees. The website shows one price. At checkout you see a service fee, a convenience fee and a "priority" fee.
3. Wrong documents. Each country wants different papers: photo size, months of bank statement, hotel booking, return ticket. Miss one small thing and your visa can be rejected.
4. No updates. You pay, upload everything, and then hear nothing. You call. You message. Nobody tells you what is happening.
5. No idea how long it takes. Nobody gives a clear timeline, so you can't book flights or hotels with confidence.
6. Lost money. If your visa is rejected, the government fee and the agent fee are usually gone, and often flight and hotel money too.
7. Passport fear. You are sending your passport, photo and bank details to a company you don't know. Where does it go? Who sees it?
8. Last-minute panic. Your flight is in four days and your visa still hasn't come.
These eight problems are why we started Krosz.
How one small mistake becomes a rejected visa
Most visa rejections don't happen because the traveller did something wrong on purpose. They happen because of one small mistake that nobody caught.

Look at step 3. In most places, nobody checks your application properly before it goes to the embassy. The agent just forwards what you uploaded. That single missing check is why so many visas get rejected. So Krosz always has a check at this step: first by our system, then by a trained visa expert.
Why starting a visa business is so hard
From outside, a visa business looks simple: show the rules, collect papers, take a fee, apply. In real life you have to get six hard things right, all at the same time.

- Rules keep changing. Countries change fees, stay limits and document lists often, usually without telling anyone.
- Too many combinations. Your passport, destination and reason for travel (holiday, business, study, medical, family) decide what you need. That is thousands of different "products".
- Mistakes cost a lot. In online shopping a mistake means a return. In visas it means a rejection, a lost fee and maybe a cancelled holiday.
- Very private data. Passports, photos, bank statements and invitation letters must stay safe.
- Trust comes first. People will not hand their passport to a company they have never heard of.
- Hard to grow. Every visa file needs checking, follow-ups and care. Weak processes make growth worse, not better.
Why even big brands get visas wrong
Big travel companies have money, staff and lots of visitors. So why do so many travellers still have bad visa experiences with them? Mostly, it is how the work is split up.

- Visas are a side business. The main money is in flights and hotels, so the visa page gets less care.
- The work is passed to someone else. You pay the brand, but an outside agent often does the actual work. When something goes wrong, nobody owns it.
- Old information. Thousands of country pages are hard to keep correct. Data is often copied in bulk and not rechecked.
- One page design for every country. A country that needs no visa can still show "how to track your visa" text.
- Support that closes tickets, not problems.
- Prices that grow between the first page and checkout.
These companies are not bad. Visas are simply hard, and if a business is not built around visas from day one, visas will always come second.
Our journey so far
Here is what we built in ten months, in the real order.

Phase 1: Building the brain. We started with the facts, not pretty pages: one central visa database of countries, visa types, prices, document lists and traveller details. Every page and every checkout reads from this one place, so the website and the bill always agree.
Phase 2: Three countries, done properly. Instead of 190 countries done badly, we started with the UAE, Vietnam and Indonesia, and built the full journey: check, apply, upload, scan your passport, pay and track.
Phase 3: Going wide, carefully. We grew to more than 150 country pages, each showing processing time, validity, stay and visa type. We added family visa guides for 150 countries, Study in India pages for international students, and free visa tools.
Phase 4: Beyond single travellers. A panel for travel agencies to apply for their customers through Krosz, and a panel for companies to manage visas for their staff.
Phase 5: Making it strong. Four testers try to break the website every week. We set up clear payments, a clear refund policy, and a rule that no visa information changes without a human approving it.
Problem 1 we faced: wrong visa information
What happened. Some visa information was being copied in automatically, and in a few cases it replaced prices we had already checked by hand. For one country the government fee on the public page showed as zero, even though checkout charged the right amount. Some pages were also missing key facts like processing time.
Why it was dangerous. Wrong information is the number-one cause of rejected visas. If our own pages could be wrong, we were becoming part of the problem.

- Our own checked prices and document lists now always win over copied data.
- New information never goes live by itself. It is saved as a suggestion.
- The founder gets an email and an alert on the admin dashboard.
- Only after a human says "yes" does the change go live.
- Countries we have checked by hand are locked.
- Every page and card now shows the four key facts.
Problem 2: passport scanning kept failing
What happened. Krosz reads your passport from a photo to save you typing. But if even one small part was unclear (glare, a shadow, a cut-off corner), the whole scan failed and you had to type everything.

- Try again automatically before giving up.
- Keep what is clear and fill it for you; you only type the missing bits.
- Tell you what went wrong in plain words, like "the photo is too dark".
- Ask you to confirm what we read, so a misread number never becomes a wrong application.
Problems 3 to 7: the other things that broke

3. The form skipped steps. For a few countries, the form jumped past review and payment because it trusted old saved information. Fix: it now checks live rules at every step.
4. Fast clicks could pay twice. Fix: one click now means one payment, with one trusted payment provider and one flat, visible fee.
5. Google could not see us properly. Our home page was accidentally hidden from search and every country page had the same title. Fix: every country page now has its own title and description, and we check search results weekly.
6. Pages wrongly said "not found". Once, when our database was busy for about two minutes, country pages told visitors the page did not exist. Fix: now the page says "please try again in a moment" instead of pretending the country is missing.
7. Long document lists scared people away. Fix: a much simpler start, with a visa expert collecting the right papers with you (see below).
The lesson: almost every problem came from something that was true once being trusted forever. The fix was always the same: check it live, and let a human approve anything important.
New thing we tried: a much simpler journey
Most people don't leave because they don't want a visa. They leave because the website asks too much, too early. So the website's job becomes small and quick, and a real visa expert does the hard part with you on WhatsApp. We are rolling this out now.

- No scary document wall. The expert tells you exactly what your country needs.
- Same easy checkout for every country.
- Help comes to you on WhatsApp and email. You never have to ask "What's my status?"
- A human is always one tap away.
- Clear money rules: a simple fee and a clear refund policy before you pay.
New thing we tried: an automatic double-check
Remember step 3 in the rejection flow? This is our answer. After you upload everything, our system checks your papers again against the rules for your country and tells you plainly: this is fine, this has a problem, or we need one more thing.

There is never a dead end: every problem comes with buttons to re-upload, say "I don't have this" (we suggest another paper or an expert helps), or get help. A trained visa expert then does a final check before anything goes to the government.
Why our AI never guesses. It only uses visa facts from our checked database, never rules from its own memory. A chatbot that sounds sure but is wrong about one document can get your visa rejected.
Why we are different
Krosz is a visa company first. We are not a travel website with a small visa page.

- Our own experts do the work, one-to-one. No outside agents.
- Properly trained experts: one month of classroom training, three tough tests and an interview before the "Visa expert with krosz.com" certificate.
- One clear price: ₹1,999 + GST service fee, government fee shown separately.
- Pages that match the real rules of each country.
- We own our mistakes and fix them at our cost.
How we win customer trust
Trust is not won with a slogan. It is earned in small ways, every day.

Clear money. Full fee before you start, GST and government fee shown, refund policy in simple words before you pay.
Honesty. Krosz is run by Krosz Services OPC Pvt Ltd in Delhi. Our support email, phone number and hours are on every receipt. When steps were done by hand, we said so. Every visa fact you see has been approved by a human.
Safety. Only our own trained team sees your papers. You sign in with a one-time code, so there is no password to leak.
Always there. Updates at every step, an expert one tap away, and your details saved for your next trip.
The promise underneath: we own our mistakes. When something is our fault, we tell you first, fix it at our cost, and say sorry properly.
