How to check your Canada visa status
- Sign in to the account you used to apply (IRCC secure account, or IRCC portal if you applied with an email)
- Open the application and view its status and messages (biometrics, passport request, decision)
- When a passport request arrives, submit your passport at the VFS VAC
- Track the passport on VFS Global India with the VAC tracking ID and date of birth
- Collect the passport at the VAC, or receive it by courier if you paid for that

What each status means
| Status shown | What it means / what to do |
